FOUNDER AND CEO – STEVEN PEARCE M.D.
Trained as a physician with board certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Steven took hold of his calling to make films shortly after coming out of fellowship with a focus on documentary-style narratives depicting psychological advancement and knowledge. He completed his first film, “LOVE|EVOL(VED),” in 2023 after spending over 5 years studying the nature of human psychology and philosophy while traveling the world. His passion is the belief that there are simple pieces of knowledge that can be shared that relieve so much suffering. And that is his mission with L36. To keep sending messages of hope, wisdom, and self-realization out into the world.
Nina Eng Winstead is the Development Director of L36 Media. She and her team are driven to share stories that foster community and improve mental health. With a background in business development, people development, and fundraising, Nina has a unique perspective on connecting with others and sharing their stories.
Prior to founding L36 Media, Nina served as the Director of Development for an education-focused, poverty prevention non-profit. There she was responsible for building an advisory council and leading fundraising efforts with an increase in funding by 7x over her 5-year time with the non-profit. Additionally, she led student-facing projects that gave young people a voice in the work of their organization. It was this experience that solidified her belief that when given the opportunity, everyday people have powerful stories to share with the world.
Leaning on her experience in business and people development, she was also the Founder and CEO of a contracted sales company, TEAM 210 INC., She successfully grew her own startup company to 60 employees over 6 years before its acquisition by another private entity. Nina’s time at TEAM 210 INC strengthened her leadership skills within the corporate world. This blend of corporate leadership skills and drive for community engagement made her the ideal candidate for DIRECTOR of L36 MEDIA INC.
Although a Colorado native, she resides in Austin, TX and graduated from the University of California Davis in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology Physiology and Behavior. Always a community builder, she is driven to connect people to solve complex problems.
